Milestone Acquires Return Disposal Assets
HOUSTON and MIDLAND, Texas – August 6, 2024 – Milestone Environmental Services, LLC (“Milestone” or the “Company”), a leading environmental infrastructure and carbon management company, today announced that it has acquired the following assets from Return Disposal, LLC (“Return”):
- Cross Ell Slurry Injection Facility, 209 Stallings Rd, Big Spring, TX 79720
- Mentone Slurry Injection Facility, 1674 US Hwy 285N, Mentone, TX 79754
- Midkiff Slurry Injection Facility, 22407 S Hwy 349, Midkiff, TX 79755; formerly known as
Hwy 349 SWD
This acquisition expands Milestone’s network to include 11 full-service slurry injection facilities, nine of which are in the Permian Basin, and three energy waste landfills, also in the Permian. The acquired facilities will continue to provide customers with more opportunities to safely and responsibly manage their energy waste, improve logistical operations, and reduce their on-lease waste footprint.
There are no planned service interruptions at the new Milestone sites. Significant operational upgrades will be phased in gradually, prioritizing continuous improvements in safety, environmental performance, and service quality.

Milestone’s new Mentone, Midkiff, and Cross Ell facilities accept all RCRA-exempt drilling, completion, and production waste streams. The facilities also offer full-service truck and frac tank washouts 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
